Shri Ganesh Parivar Mitra Mandal (आपला गणराज) 

Which was established in 2005 in Khar (East), Mumbai city under the guidance of Vinod Prajapati and Rohit Tiwari. For almost 8 years of the early days, both of them, along with some of their colleagues, planned to install the idol of Ganesh at home due to lack of adequate space and student life at that time.

And then when all eternally started working after a few years, in the 9th year, all these people made the Public Mandal with the help of local people. Shri Ganesh Pariwar Mitra Mandal, Due to became part of the society, people gave their full love to this mandal.

The only objective of the Mandal is to make people aware of the prayers and religious works of Lord Ganesha with true devotion and also to increase interest in the religion.

So that there is a positive energy communication in the society and people should at least maintain selfless feelings and love towards each other.

Shri Ganesh Parivar Mitra Mandal heartily welcomes all Ganesh devotees.

Shri Ganesh Parivar Mitra Mandal was established in 2005 in Khar (East), Mumbai. In which Mr. Vinod Prajapati and Mr. Rohit Tiwari played the leading roles in establishing this division.

Both of them wanted to start the mandal from their school days when one day Rohit Tiwari came to know that Vinod Prajapati has been interested in the Ganesh Chaturtthi festival by adding a match box and in many other ways also.

So one day, when both of them were playing after coming back from their school, suddenly Rohit said to Vinod that I have heard that you celebrate Ganesh festival on paper or in many other ways.

So Vinod said yes I have a lot of interest but father is scolding for all these things. So now I stopped doing all this. Then Rohit said very enthusiastically that this time we celebrate Ganesh Chaturtthi and if your father knows about it, then I will convince your father.

Then after thinking something, Vinod also said yes and both started waiting for Ganesh Chaturthi.

Then after a few months, the time of Ganesh Chaturthi was coming to a close, then one day they meet again. And discuss about Utsav, Suddenly in the talks, Vinod said, why don’t you make a statue of clay this time and celebrate the festival? Then Rohit said that if you come to make an idol, then we must do it.

And then one day when Vinod was returning home from his school, then Vinod saw that some people were working on one side of the Khar railway bridge to make the idols of God, then it all came to Vinod’s mind that if a little soil is mixed with him, then he will easily make a statue of Ganapati.

Now thinking of this, Vinod goes there silently and stole a little soil and brings it to his house and then calls Rohit home and tells everything about how Ganpati’s soil was arranged.

Then Rohit said that let’s start the work of idol again quickly because now only a few days are left for Ganesh Utshav.

And then after both of them come to school every day, Rohit and his brother Lalit both get involved in the work of idol at Vinod’s house.

During this time, Vinod’s younger brothers (Pramod and Awadhesh) were told that no one should know in the house that we are making clay.

And then after this Vinod, Rohit, Pramod, Awadhesh and Lalit all started contributing themselves in making idols in their own way.

Then in few days the work of the idol was completed and the next two days after that, Ganesh Chaturthi was there. Then all the friends decided among themselves that on the day of Ganesh Utsav, we will secretly take the idol in a box and then remove the box in a very simple way, and we will welcome to Bappa in the house with a lot of noise and full of excitement. And installed.

And then on that day, all the friends welcomed Ganapati Bappa on the day of Ganesh Chaturthi with lots of fun in the whole department. It was a happy day for all people.

Now all the friends had made Ganpati at home, but it was going on in the mind of Vinod that when the father would come home at night, I hope after see this all would not be angry on me. Then I told all this to Rohit and he said that I stay at your house at night today, then when your father comes, I will explain if I say anything. Vinod felt right about Rohit and he knew that father would not say anything because of Rohit and he would not refuse it at all.

Now it was night and when the father came home, he saw that the children had installed the idol of Ganesh by decorating it on the caramboard.

Father saw and asked which of all these games you are playing till now, Dad thought that they were all playing a game.

Suddenly, Rohit said to his father, Uncle, all of us are sitting Ganpati this time by making an idol.

Then father-in-law smiled and said that it is a very good thing that all the people have got Ganpati installed, now everyone should serve Ganapati ji with goodness and at the same time pay attention to studies and went to eat.

Seeing all this, Vinod said to Rohit, brother, I was so scared in vain. Rohit said कुछ नहीं होता यार ये सब, गणपति बप्पा हैं ना अपने साथ।

Now slowly some of friends started to know that this time all these people are celebrating Ganesh festival. And then slowly slowly more friends joined them.

Now all these were at least 16 people, Vinod, Rohit, Mukesh, Sanjay, Sukesh, Pramod, Awadhesh, Lalit, Kailash, Nikhil, Surya (Pappu), Rohit, Mantosh, Umesh, Nirmala and Jaya. After this, all together held a program every day during the festival. And enjoy the program very much like dance competion, mahaarati, and Games etc.

One day after the Arti, all the friends were sitting among themselves, that suddenly Vinod came to mind that why should we name this group. Then during a lot of suggestions, Vinod said if we name our group ‘Shri Ganesh Pariwar Mitra Mandal’, how will it be? Because the people of his group’s family and the rest of his friends have contributed a lot in setting Ganapati.

And long, I want that in the same way when we start doing the job with the blessings of Ganpati Bappa, then we will all come out of this Ganpati mandal and make it public. All the friends liked this idea very much and everyone accepted it. After this, everyone collected as much money as possible in their own way and organized the worship of Satyanarayana and Mahaprasad on the 10th day of occasion. Then on the next day (Visharjan day), everyone bid farewell to Ganapati Bappa with a very emotional heart.

After Bappa’s departure, all the members would remember the moment they spent during the Ganesh festival.

Then everyone started celebrating Ganesh Chaturthi every year continuously. But Vinod and Rohit are always talking about how to get Ganapati Mandal out of the house so that he can celebrate among the society by bringing the idol of Ganapati like a public circle.

While doing this, some 8 years passed and after a few months when Vinod and Rohit were talking about Ganapathi’s 9th year arrival, then there suddenly came two friends (Rocky & Nagya) who was playing Nashik Band with our mandal at the time of Gapati’s Agaman & Visharjan. They came to know that his (Vinod & Rohit) idea is to make Ganapati Mandal public, so they liked it very much,

And then both friends (Rocky & Nagya) gave a lot of information to Vinod and Rohit about to get Mandal out and all his expenses, due to which both of them increased their (Vinod & Rohit) confidence and at the same time decided that if Bappa wanted, this time on 9th year, Ganpati Mandal Will try to sit in public and outside department.

Now the challenge was how to do all this when Ganesha Chaturthi was left for 2-3 months.

Then one day Vinod says all this to his all friends (Sandesh Jadhav, Vijay Bhatia and Jagjit Sing Matharu (Bablu Bhai), Brazil brother, Prashant Kadam, Sachin Shirke, Rahul Upadhyay, Raju Prajapati, Robert Mascarenhas, Vinayak Sutrave, Vinayak Shetty, Imran Sheikh, Rupesh Vengulekar, Ramesh Prajapati, Johnson, Abdul Sheikh, Prem Saroj, Jairaj Ghanate, Vaibhav Bohate and Deepu Sutrave). And share everything about the same.

Then all these friends made a lot of efforts to make the Ganapati mandal public and in every possible way, they all contributed immensely. Due to the blessings of all these, Ganapati Mandal became public on the 9th year. And for the first time public was celebrated Ganesh Utsav with great pomp in the department premises.

After the Ganpati Mandal became public, then mandal was required to be registration with government records. Then that time Rohit Tiwari’s younger brother, Lalit Tiwari, proceeded to fulfil this responsibility and after much effort Mandal get done registered in the on 17th year And this year too, all the members celebrated the festival of Ganesh Utsav with great enthusiasm.

Then the time was spent and after a few months all the members of Shri Ganesh Pariwar started to get excited that after few months, this time will be 15th year of Shri Ganesh Parivar Mandal so why not make this year special forever.

All people took all kinds of responsibility in their hands and everyone started to fulfil it.

Then one day Rohit Tiwari gets a call that Awdhesh Prajapati and his team (Vishal Sharma, Surya (Pappu), Lalit, Siddesh, Sunil and Ankit) are thinking of a Slogan for Mandal, which is named.

॥आपला गणराज॥

All the members liked this slogan very much …… and then Mandal was addressed by Awadhesh Prajapati and his team to Shri Ganesh Parivar Mitra Mandal by the name of ॥आपला गणराज ॥ 

And in the 15th year, all the members welcomed to ॥आपला गणराज ॥ with a chariot and made it very memorable among the people. Which is very good even today by remembering it.
